Our Expeditions
We, dTravellingTurtles went on different expeditions traversing the high landscapes of Ladakh to cycling in the Western Ghats to exploring the interior coastal routes, from finding meaning in rock carvings and unearthing Vedic rituals to spreading awareness through Clean Plate Challenge, Save the Lake, Plastic Misuse. These were not only expeditions but also lessons learnt in resilience, testing our spirit, endurance and love for traveling thus creating and amassing fond memories for life.
Cauvery Bridges (2024)
An offbeat expedition to capture the flow of river Kaveri from its origin to its final destination, an 800 kms length covering 2 states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. A truly massive undertaking to cover all the STATE capitals of India and a few Union Territories at one go.

Venture Capital Bharat (2023)
A truly massive undertaking to cover all the STATE capitals of India and a few Union Territories at one go.The national highways covering all 28 State Capitals brought us closer to the vast diversity of our country connecting with locals and capturing the essence of What truly India is encapsulating ‘Mera Bharat Mahan' ! This was done in modified 4 wheeler equipped totally for outlanding or overlanding where one cooks and rests in the vehicle itself. It was 77 days project covering 18,000 kms meeting students and people from all walks of life to educate about CLEAN PLATE Challenge. It also was an opportunity to meet the University students and give a copy of my books to their library.

Kerala Yajnam (2020)
Research and conversations with people who still perform a unique Vedic ritual to purify the environment called as Athirathram Yajnam in Panjal village of Kerala.

Ashoka Rock Edicts (2020)
Emperor Ashoka has left behind many rock edicts and pillar carvings in few parts of India. This exploration in Karnataka state unearthed his environmental teachings relevant even to this day and age.

Coast to Coast (2018)
The coastal road of India riding on bike from Lakpath in Gujarat to Gosaba in West Bengal, where every mile gave us a smile. A different journey of 52 days exploring not only the coastal beaches but also sharing with people the menace of plastic waste and paper cup usages.

Cycling to and fro to Kanyakumari (2017)
Cycling to and back for 14 days from Bangalore to Kanyakumari sharing about ‘Love food Not waste food’ concept.

Water expedition on coracle (2017)
Exploring the backwaters of Sharavati river near Talguppe, Shivamogga district of Karnataka on coracle for 6 days - a one of a kind expedition in the world.

Go Ghat Cycling (Dec 2016)
Accompanying a cycling team as a back up member as they cycled along the Western Ghats of Karnataka to understand, observe and get close up and personal to the change diaspora for 17 days.

Bangalore to Ladakh (2016)
A 33 day bike exploration from Bangalore to Ladakh to traverse on the highest motor able road (earlier) to Khardungla, every biker’s dream ride. This was also with the intention of Save Lake campaign.
